Just got back from a day at the Otara Markets with Rebecca and three linguists.
I’m stuffed full of spring rolls and churros, and I had no idea linguists would talk that much. (In hindsight I should have figured that one out earlier.) It was awesome.
There is a bear in front of me and a beer in front of me. P.S. Timing the shot so you could see the bear was really hard, FYI.
What even is sleep and where can I buy it.
It was ridiculously sunny today. On the bus, at least. Wouldn’t know about this whole “outside” thing.
My beard is getting a bit ridiculous right now.
And here’s one I prepared earlier. Yesterday at Christmas lunch, looking surprisingly awake for someone who got three hours sleep.
Holy shit, I demolished nearly half a litre of Red Bull in less than ten minutes. I’m going to be jittering for weeks.
Also, John Hiatt is on Treme, performing “Feels Like Rain”. When everyone else at my school was in to Nirvana and Pearl Jam, I was listening to Hiatt and Ry Cooder like a proper freak. I don’t even care, I still love that song.
